Givenchy Nightingale, 12.5″x19″ $1,995 at Barneys

I am completely obsessed with Givenchy lately, it actually began over a year ago when I first spotted the Nightingale at Barneys but lately I can’t get its urban chic bags and edgy sexy shoes out of my mind. My friend Sasha has a similar obsession (one that I can’t discuss) and we have spent hours lamenting over Givenchy! I am especially loving the latest Nightingale incarnation in white smooth leather and Tejus lizard handles. Fresh and clean, with just a touch of metallic pizazz, it’s really one of the best white bags out right now. Okay, so it’s about as far from a classic birkin as one can veer in taste but if you knew me you would understand. I get bored easily and need excitement constantly, and let me tell you, Givenchy is exciting! Now that I am a mommy, I don’t hit the night scene. Now this is just retro fabulous. It’s ladylike but edgy, my friend got a gold pair when we went shopping last weekend but they were out of my size… sigh… But I got the black pair yesterday at Barneys!!!
