London-based couture shoemaker Jimmy Choo is not only great at manufacturing stylish and wearable shoes, but also high quality bags. And that is what we care about, afterall.

Today’s pick out of Jimmy Choo’s fantastic collection is the Horizon Leather Bag that just hit Net-A-Porter of England this week. The bright orange bag stuns with an outstanding leather quality on the outside and with beige suede with lilac trim lining on the inside. The bag has a gold signature inscribed buckle in the front securing a small pocket, a single shoulder strap, zip fastening closure and eight tiny feet on the base. A vigorously bright, compact and chic style for the spring time. For ~$995 at Net-A-Porter.

Jimmy Choo’s Fall 05 line brings us two gorgeous pewter leather bags that make our eyes want to munch them whole, as they are pure eye candy! The Jimmy Choo Grommet Hobo (left) is made fully of quality bronze pewter metallic leather and golden hardware. Floral cutouts and grommets adorne the canvas while the shoulder strap is inset with metal rings. The top is open and is covered with an extended tab with a logo keeper. Buckled straps around the sides and base of the hobo complete the chic hobo bag. The Italian made bag can be pre-ordered at Bergdorf Goodman for $1,350. Similarly, the Jimmy Choo Grommet Flap Bag comes with the same features, though features a closed top and appears to be slightly larger. The price is higher, too - for $1,900 you can call one of them your own. However, you will have to be patient, as they will start to ship towards the end of September of this year.

Sometimes I feel like being flashy. Not tacky or gaudy but adding a lil pizzazz to an outfit. Most of the time, it depends on my mood. The Jimmy Choo Cracked Metallic Clutch brings just what some of us fun gals are looking for. The shape is stunning. Being a clean rectangular shape adds a modernized appeal to the bag. Another touch that puts us in the future is the shimmering-metallic leather. A last touch that also ads a modern feel is the shiny silver magnetic fold-down top and diary-lock closure and the grommet hardware (which comes with an adjustable belt). Let’s hop back from the future into now. Both purple and bronze are available (I chose the almost over-the-top purple) and the inside is lined in suede. Some combinations of materials are quite alluring. One of my favorites is suede and leather. There is something about the soft suede intertwined with smooth leather that I find totally sexy on a bag. Jimmy Choo has not only made me lust for shoes and wish I won the lotto, but now has decided to turn me to lusting for his bags. I just can’t afford you Jimmy! The Jimmy Choo Suede Slouchy Bag is made of the most supple tangerine suede and leather in a curvy and slouchy shoulder style bag. Somewhat resembling a messenger bag, this bag is complete with a full front flap and buckle detail. There are also side pockets with buckle snaps and the bag is closed with its snap tab buckle-lock closure. The tangerine color is perfectly accented with grommet detail with beautiful silver metal hardware. The inside of the bag has both open and zip pockets and suede lining. Overall dimensions are 7??”H X 14″L X 6″W. This slouchy beauty can be purchased via Saks for $990.

I must admit the first time I really fell in love with a blue bag was on the beautiful Paddington, but lately I have been finding some more bags that catch my eye with a blue hue. Blame it on the awful Midwest weather, but I have a thing for the color blue lately. The Jimmy Choo Leather Tote mixes a simple creamy navy calfskin with audacious golden hardware. The bag isn’t just sporting a little bit of hardware, but nearly an auxiliary of it. Wham-bam- thank-you-mam! The bag doesn’t give me the blues, rather makes me quite happy (despite the awful grey skies outside that have not and will not part until March). When I first saw this beauty by Jimmy Choo, I thought to myself that this wallet is ’so me’. The Jimmy Choo Unity Metallic Mesh Wallet screams out glamourous fun. If you are the life of the party, why not carry a wallet that makes you look that way. To me, this wallet would be used a clutch- because there is no way I would hide this beauty from any onlookers vision. This wallet is made of silver metallic mesh and is accented with gold hardware. Showing off the signature ‘Jimmy Choo’ inscribed loop on the front, this wallet lets you know there is no messing around. After unzipping the wrap around zip fastening, you will find a central zip fastening pocket with spaces for your precious credit cards (which by the end of this holiday season may be empty). Down in my hometown of Miami, Florida, Lilo was spoted with her dark-dark hair and a beautiful blue bag (I’m pretty sure she gave her ’signature’ peace sign a few times too ). What bag is it you may wonder? Well it is the Jimmy Choo Leather Tote so many of us have been drooling over since I wrote about it a few days back. The bag is bold, big, beautiful, and blue. Let’s all give LiLo a little slack after a rough week down in Mia and give her the nod of approval for the bag at least.

For whatever reason I always thought that buying the more expensive product meant it was better. An example is when I would go to the hardware store for a specific ‘thing’. As much as I’d love to be the trendy girl that could make sense of the hardware store, I can’t. Ask Vlad, he could go on for days about it. So when I would go into the store, if there is more than one option I always go for the more expensive one. In my head, I figure that the more expensive product must be better. Later on I find out that is not always true. And everyday I realize it is also not always true with fashion. Thanks to Luxist for pointing out that a price tag of $2100 does not mean the bag looks better than a bag for $1000. Thanks to Luxist, we have found our fug bag for the week. The Jimmy Choo Nubuck Hobo with Crystals is overwhelmingly adorned with Swarovski crystals which are on top of smooth nubuck leather. The bag is perfectly explained by Luxist, saying that the bag “takes a couple of different trends; the hobo shape, all-over ornamentation, and dangling zippers and combines them to eye-paining effect.” Exactly my thoughts! Nevertheless the bag measures 7″H X 10″L X 3″W and is available for those of us who love some bling bling via Saks for $2100.
